Pukeko Update

What a fantastic first week. The children have settled in incredibly well. They are settled, focused and interested in our classroom.

We will be starting PMP Perceptual Motor Program this week on Tuesday and Thursday at 9am. We need parent help to implement it well. This program helps develop children's fundamental physical skills that translate over into academic learning. Please email us if you are able to help.

The Pukeko children have been exploring the equipment we have in our classroom and finding what play means in our space. There has been lots of opportunities for Mrs Watson and I to get along side children to help them make some new friends and become comfortable.

Michael and Zac 'Talking' to each other over in the kitchen area.

Jared setting up the dolls house. Zac along side watching what he was doing.

Grace creating a replica mum.

We were able to get the mice out for a pat and a hold on Wednesday. We really must think of some names for them.
